Torrevieja Council and concessionaire Avanza have presented the new official map of the town’s urban bus service, ahead of its phased introduction this summer. The tool is designed to help residents and visitors identify routes, stops and connections at a glance.

The new map clearly sets out eight colour-coded lines, each with its own route diagram. The network is organised around a main محور along Avenida Doctor Gregorio Marañón, from which most services branch out to different neighbourhoods and urbanisations.

The system includes one circular line serving the town centre and seven additional routes linking key locations. These include Torrevieja University Hospital, health centres, shopping centres, sports facilities, the municipal bus station and the beaches, as well as major residential areas such as La Mata, Los Balcones, Punta Prima and San Luis.

The map shows all stops with their corresponding codes and provides details of outbound and return journeys. It will be available in print and digitally via a QR code, alongside customer service contact details. The council says the updated network will deliver a more modern, accessible and efficient service in response to the town’s continued population growth.
