A man has been reported by Local Police in San Javier for carrying an air pistol in a nightlife area.
The incident happened at around 5am on Sunday near the Maná nightclub. Two young women contacted officers and said they had gone to the venue with a friend and another young man. During the night, an argument broke out with the second man, whom they accused of behaving aggressively.
They also told police he had brought a replica weapon into the club and had shown it several times. Officers later located the suspect as he was attempting to leave the area by car.
According to police, the man threw the air pistol from inside the vehicle before he could be stopped. He has now been reported in connection with the incident.
