A court in Torrevieja has ordered the closure and eviction of Hotel Solebello in La Mata on 13 July at 9.15am. Judicial notices placed at the entrances and inside the building warn all guests and occupants to leave before that time. The order was issued by the civil section of the Court of First Instance number four.

The case stems from a legal action brought by Eurointerfisa, the company listed on the hotel’s 2018 municipal licence and recognised as holding the sole right to operate the property. During proceedings, several residents presented rental contracts signed with Mazart Global Group. However, the judge ruled there was no evidence that the company had any legal authority to let the building.

The hotel, which has 49 rooms, has been partially occupied in recent months by people holding contracts later deemed fraudulent, as well as others who moved in without agreements. The court notice states that any belongings left behind will be considered abandoned under civil law. If necessary, police will assist with the eviction.

Police forces and regional inspectors carried out a joint operation at the property on 2 June following complaints from local residents about security concerns. The eviction order was signed two days later. The hotel remains officially registered as a three-star establishment with the Generalitat Valenciana.
