Two people and their dog have been rescued after getting into difficulty off the coast of Isla Plana in Mazarrón.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon near El Mojón. Emergency services were alerted when the pair were unable to make their way back to shore.
Crews from the regional coastal rescue plan, known as Plan Copla, were deployed to assist. A Civil Protection jet ski reached the group and towed them safely back to Playa del Corral in Cartagena.
No injuries have been reported. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances leading to the rescue.
