La Finca Golf has retained thirteenth place in Spain in Golf Digest’s ranking of the country’s best golf courses. The position, maintained for the second edition in a row, also makes it the highest-ranked course in Alicante province.

The recognition comes during a busy period for the course and the wider resort. La Finca Golf and Villamartín Golf hosted the four qualifying events for the seventh La Finca Resort Circuit during July and August, attracting 402 players and recording 751 starts.

The circuit will now conclude with a 36-hole final at La Finca Golf on 12 and 13 December. Forty-five players have qualified through their results in the different categories and through the Regularity Prize, which rewards players who took part in all four qualifying events but had not already qualified.

La Finca Golf has also recently completed a full refurbishment of its pro shop. The resort has joined the R&A’s Sustainable Agronomy Venue programme, receiving independent, science-based advice to support more sustainable course management and improve quality and performance.
