Murcia’s president, Fernando López Miras, has announced that the regional government will meet in Cartagena on Thursday to discuss what he has described as a “serious situation” linked to irregular migrant arrivals. The meeting will take place in the port city.
Around fifty people arrived at Cala Dentoles, in the Calblanque Regional Park within Cartagena municipality, early on Wednesday. It was the third landing involving irregular migrants in the area in a week.
