Low Festival begins its first edition in Torrevieja today, bringing three days of live music to Antonio Soria Park. Organisers expect around 20,000 attendees each day at the 15,000 square metre site, set beside the Mediterranean and the city’s salt lagoons.

Kasabian, The Hives, Fangoria, Dani Fernández and Editors top the bill, while Love of Lesbian are set to appear as part of their farewell tour. In total, more than 50 acts will perform across four stages, with a wide range of food outlets and facilities designed to cater for all dietary requirements.

The festival has kept its 100% autonomous waste collection system and vacuum toilets, reducing water use by 90%. It also holds EventSost certification for its commitment to sustainability. Proceeds from invitation tickets will go to AFA Torrevieja and Afecáncer.

Shuttle buses are operating from cities including Alicante, Valencia and Murcia, alongside a free local service. Drivers can access the site from the AP-7, with more than 2,000 free parking spaces. Remaining day tickets start from €39.99, with resident discounts still available.
