An eight-year-old boy has been injured after a golf buggy left the road and fell from a bridge at sports facilities in the municipality of Rojales.
According to the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium, the vehicle dropped approximately three metres. Emergency services received the alert at 5.09pm on Monday.
The child suffered several blows and required medical assistance at the scene. However, no one was trapped as a result of the fall.
Firefighters from the Almoradí station were deployed, including a heavy rural engine and a crew made up of a corporal and four firefighters. The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been confirmed.
