Benidorm Local Police have rescued a young boy who was found standing on an air conditioning unit on the 21st floor of a residential building in the Alicante province.
Officers were alerted on Sunday after receiving reports that a child was in a situation of “extreme danger” outside a flat high above the ground. When they arrived at the property, they saw the boy positioned on the external unit and immediately carried out a rescue.
Police confirmed that the child was brought safely inside. They said the swift action of officers was crucial in preventing a potentially tragic outcome. The boy’s father has been arrested in connection with the incident.
