Torrevieja’s Department of Markets has confirmed that the weekly street market will not be held on Friday 24 July or Friday 31 July due to the Low Festival, which is taking place at Parque Antonio Soria.
To allow traders and customers to continue their usual buying and selling, both markets have been rescheduled. The market originally planned for 24 July will now take place on Monday 10 August. That means there will be two market days that week: Monday 10 August and the regular Friday market on 14 August.
The market scheduled for 31 July has been moved to Monday 17 August. Again, there will be two markets that week, on Monday 17 August and Friday 21 August.
The council has thanked traders for their understanding and customers for their continued support, and has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary changes.
