Eight people were injured on Tuesday evening after a collision involving a car and a Cartagena urban transport bus operated by Alsa.
The crash happened at 6.54pm on Ramón y Cajal Street, near the Cuatro Santos neighbourhood, popularly known as Las Cuatrocientas. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
According to initial reports, the car failed to stop at a junction, forcing the bus driver to take evasive action. The bus was unable to avoid the vehicle and ended up crashing into the front of a nearby house.
The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed. An investigation is under way to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
