Torrevieja will host British Armed Forces Day on Saturday, 27 June, with a programme of events in the town centre organised by The Royal British Legion in collaboration with the council’s Department for Community Relations and Integration.

Proceedings begin at 18:00 with a parade of standards from Plaza Miguel Hernández to Plaza de la Constitución, accompanied by the Torrevieja Pipes & Drums band. The formal ceremony will take place on arrival in the square.

Mayor Eduardo Dolón is expected to attend, alongside institutional representatives, the UK Embassy’s Defence Attaché to Spain, Captain Anthony Crabb, and the UK Vice-Consul in Alicante, Elizabeth Bell, as well as members of the Royal British Legion and local residents.

The event will pay tribute to the men and women of the British Armed Forces and highlight the close ties between Torrevieja and its British community, one of the largest and most established international groups in the municipality.
