Santa Pola will launch its daily summer lifeguard service from 20 June, with cover in place until 6 September across the entire coastline. Levante and Gran Playa will operate from 10:30 to 20:30, while other beaches and coves will be staffed from 11:00 to 19:00. A mid-season timetable will apply for the following two September weekends.

The new one-year contract, valued at around 780,000 euros, replaces the previous 610,000-euro agreement and includes the option of three annual extensions. Around 40 lifeguards will be deployed, with reinforced cover at Gran Playa, Playa Lisa and Tamarit. The service includes two jet skis, an ambulance with two emergency technicians and a coordinator.

Accessible bathing points at Levante and Gran Playa will be open daily from 11:00 to 19:00 until 6 September. More than 8,000 people used these facilities last summer. A dedicated area at Gran Playa will also cater for people with specific or psychological needs, operating by prior booking.

Public toilets on several beaches will open from 10:00 to 20:00 until 13 September. Sunbeds, parasols, pedal boats, kiosks and five free non-motorised nautical launch areas are also available along the coast.
