Torrevieja Local Police have rescued several kittens that were trapped in different locations across the city in recent days. The incidents came to light after residents alerted the authorities to animals in dangerous or difficult-to-access areas.

The operations required close coordination between Local Police and various municipal departments. In some cases, the rescues were particularly complex due to the nature of the locations, requiring careful planning and additional resources to ensure the safety of both the teams involved and the animals.

Municipal officials have highlighted the crucial role played by the council’s crane personnel, whose assistance proved decisive in at least one operation by enabling access to a hard-to-reach spot where a kitten was trapped. All the animals were rescued without injury and have received appropriate care.

The Animal Protection department has thanked all those involved, including emergency services staff and members of the public. Officials say the successful rescues reflect both effective teamwork and the growing commitment of Torrevieja residents to animal welfare.
