A man was injured with a bladed weapon during a dispute between two families in Los Alcázares on Monday, according to sources close to the investigation.
The incident allegedly began after the victim’s brother was arrested for the suspected harassment of a neighbour’s daughter. The two families are believed to live close to each other, and tensions reportedly escalated following the detention.
The disagreement developed into a violent confrontation in which knives, chains and even a hoe were allegedly used. A local police officer from nearby San Javier carried out the arrest linked to the earlier complaint. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
