Luck has returned to Alicante province after a EuroMillions ticket validated in Torrevieja won 23,201.76 euros in the draw held on Tuesday 9 June 2026. The prize was for matching five numbers in the third category and was the only winning ticket of that level sold in Spain.
The ticket was validated at a lottery outlet on Calle Fragata, 4, in Torrevieja, according to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado. Across Europe, nine players matched five numbers and will each receive the same amount.
The winning numbers were 02, 07, 23, 44 and 46, with stars 03 and 05. The El Millón code was CTV51978. There were no first-category winners matching five numbers and two stars, either in Spain or in the other participating countries.
As a result, the jackpot of 174 million euros will roll over to the next EuroMillions draw. In Spain, there were also two second-category winners, each receiving 148,909.66 euros.
