Three people have been arrested after National Police dismantled an indoor cannabis plantation in the Lo Campano district of Cartagena.
The operation was carried out on Tuesday morning as part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal drug production. Officers seized more than 1,000 cannabis plants, along with a significant quantity of buds that had already been prepared in drying rooms and were allegedly ready for distribution.
Police have said the raid forms part of wider efforts to combat organised drug networks operating in the area. Investigations are continuing into the origins of the plantation and whether others were involved in the distribution of the drugs.
