In a heartwarming ceremony held this October, the proceeds from the eighth edition of the Rock Against Cancer festival were distributed. Each of the beneficiary charities, Afecáncer and Alicante Contra el Cáncer – Sede Local Torrevieja, received a donation of ten thousand euros. Festival co-founders Neil Wyatt and Janet Figueroa were present to hand over the cheques to the charity presidents, Victoria Meneses and Manoli Flores.

The event saw participation from numerous bands and a supportive audience, highlighting the community spirit surrounding the festival. The organisers expressed their sincere gratitude to all who contributed, including sponsors, collaborators, and volunteers.

Special thanks were given to Lars Andersen and Chalotte Lange for their unwavering commitment and effort, which have ensured the festival’s continued growth year after year.

The festival not only raises funds but also reinforces the message that music has the power to change lives and positively impact the community.
