The Town Hall of Torrevieja, through the Departments of Commerce and Youth, has announced the programming of activities for Halloween twenty twenty-five. This year’s events, aimed at energising commercial areas and providing family-friendly entertainment, will take place at various locations throughout the municipality. Rosario Martínez Chazarra, the councillor for Commerce, highlighted the importance of Halloween for local shops, stating that it generates significant footfall in urban areas and boosts community engagement.

The programme will feature interactive exhibitions, workshops, themed decorations, musical performances, children’s contests, parades, a haunted house at the Vistalegre Exhibition Hall, and the grand Halloween parade on Ramón Gallud Street. Additionally, Domingo Paredes Ibáñez, the councillor for Youth, has announced the return of the much-anticipated ‘Zombie Experience’. This immersive and participative night event invites young people to enjoy a unique, safe experience that combines games, sports, and teamwork.

The Zombie Experience will take place on the night of thirty-first October in La Mata, beginning at eleven o’clock from the Plaza de Encarnación Puchol. Participants will navigate various challenges within an urban survival narrative, with professional makeup services available at the La Mata Sports Pavilion. The event will include thematic ambiance, group challenges, and prizes for participants.

Financed through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan with a budget of forty-eight thousand four hundred and thirty-three euros from the Next Generation EU funds, the Town Hall reinforces its commitment to a safe and participatory Halloween that merges commercial vitality with cultural and youth engagement. The schedule of Halloween activities runs from the twenty-fourth to the thirty-first of October, culminating in a vibrant series of street activities in Torrevieja.
