Police in Alicante have apprehended three individuals, including two men and one woman aged between thirty-nine and forty-one, in connection with the theft of a bag from a swimmer at Postiguet beach. The incident occurred while the victim was enjoying a swim, and the suspects, who were seated nearby, took advantage of the moment to steal her backpack.

As the victim emerged from the water, two witnesses informed her of the theft and provided a detailed description of the culprits. This timely information was relayed to a nearby police patrol, leading to a coordinated response by law enforcement.

Minutes later, officers identified three individuals matching the description in a busy street known for second-hand shops, a common area for the resale of stolen items. The police intercepted the suspects and discovered the victim’s car keys discarded in a rubbish bin.

All three suspects were arrested and are now facing legal proceedings.
