La Guardia Civil has arrested two men, aged thirty-eight and twenty-five, in connection with a knife attack that took place in Almoradí on the fifteenth of September. The victim, a nineteen-year-old, was stabbed multiple times in a public area and sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital and, after several days, has fortunately been discharged and returned home to recover.

The investigation suggests that the attack was related to a personal dispute between the attacker, who has a lengthy criminal record, and the victim, who also has previous offences. During the incident, which occurred in broad daylight, the suspect fled the scene.

Quick action by a Guardia Civil officer off duty enabled the arrest of the primary suspect in Orihuela Costa on the twenty-third of September. The officer recognised the suspect and detained him until a patrol arrived. Following this, investigators identified a second individual accused of providing the knife used in the assault.

Both men, who are known to law enforcement due to their extensive records, have been presented to the Instruction Court Number Three of Orihuela, which has ordered their provisional imprisonment. Meanwhile, the victim is recovering at home after being hospitalised due to his injuries.
