A woman has been arrested in San Javier after assaulting a police officer while attempting to break up a fight between women. The incident occurred early on Wednesday morning when local police responded to a report of a heated argument in the Roda area. Upon arrival, officers found multiple women engaged in a dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation.

According to sources, one of the women assaulted a police officer in the face while saying derogatory remarks. The blow resulted in facial injuries to the officer, prompting immediate legal action against the suspect. During a quick trial, the woman was convicted of serious resistance and disobedience to an authority figure, receiving a four-month prison sentence.

The court suspended her sentence provided she refrains from committing any further crimes within the next two years. Additionally, she is required to compensate the injured officer two hundred forty euros for the damages caused. This incident highlights the challenges law enforcement faces in de-escalating conflicts and maintaining public order.
