An eighteen-year-old was attacked by three dogs, two Argentine dogos and a Belgian Malinois, at a residence in San Javier on the twenty-fifth of April. According to municipal sources, the young man sustained bites to several limbs and was promptly taken to Los Arcos Hospital for treatment. Although he did not file an official complaint regarding the incident, local authorities have taken action against the dog owners for violating various regulations concerning dangerous dog ownership.

Witnesses alerted emergency services around two o’clock in the afternoon, reporting screams coming from the house suggesting a person was being attacked. Local police responded to the scene and spoke with the injured individual, who indicated he did not wish to press charges. However, due to his visible injuries and severe bleeding, officers decided to intervene.

The property’s owner stated that the young man had approached the dogs, and one of them reacted aggressively. The young individual reportedly sustained not only bite wounds but also some tears in his skin. Although the dog owners initially could not provide the required documentation, they later presented it at the police station.

Despite having additional information, authorities still imposed penalties due to a lack of necessary licenses and insurance for owning potentially dangerous dogs. The Civil Guard has received the local police’s report and is awaiting further developments in the municipal proceedings, particularly with the victim choosing not to lodge a formal complaint.
