Torrevieja will host the 72nd International Habaneras and Polyphony Competition, declared an Event of International Tourist Interest, bringing together more than 700 choristers from 13 countries and fifteen choirs at the Municipal Theatre.
The programme includes an opening gala featuring soprano Ainhoa Arteta, four nights of choral competition, and a closing gala with the winning choirs and prize-giving. There will also be a pre-festival open-air habaneras night at Playa del Cura, plus parallel performances and concerts around the city.
