On Sunday 26 July at 21:00, the iconic Paseo Vista Alegre will become an open-air auditorium to host a special evening dedicated to zarzuela, Spains best-known lyrical genre.
The Unin Musical Torrevejense, conducted by Carlos Ramn Prez, will present the concert Noche de Zarzuela, featuring a journey through some of the most celebrated works in the zarzuela repertoire, with excerpts from classics such as La Revoltosa, Agua, azucarillos y aguardiente, Luisa Fernanda, La verbena de la Paloma and La Parranda.
A summer night setting by the sea and live band performance promise an emotive tribute to one of Spains most representative cultural traditions.
