Prosecutors seek 55 years for alleged cash machine gang

Prosecutors have requested combined prison sentences of 55 years for eight defendants accused of belonging to a criminal organisation that stole cash machines across eastern and southern Spain. Torrevieja reopens Levante breakwater walkway after major refurbishment

Torrevieja has reopened the remodelled Levante breakwater walkway, allowing pedestrians once again to reach the lighthouse. Pavasal has emerged as the leading bidder to carry out the reurbanisation of Los Locos Beach in Torrevieja, after the opening of financial offers by the municipal contracting committee.
