Torrevieja Council has expanded its current recruitment process for local police officers to 63 posts, following approval by the staff committee. The total has risen from 44 after the council added posts from its 2025 and 2026 employment offers to those already planned for 2023 and 2024. Torrevieja approves plans for new heated swimming pool

Torrevieja council’s governing committee has approved the project for a new heated swimming pool at the Ciudad Deportiva sports complex. The facility will be built behind the Tavi y Carmona Sports Palace and opposite the Cecilio Gallego Pavilion. It has a tender budget of €5,533,669.03 and an expected construction period of 18 months. Torrevieja renews home help service with €1.94 million investment

Torrevieja Council has awarded a €1,936,897 contract to renew and improve its Municipal Home Help Service. An administrative section of Elche’s Court of Instance has partially upheld a legal challenge by Recreativos Acuáticos Horadada against Torrevieja Council and the consortium awarded the beach concession.
