Driver Killed in Tree Collapse Incident in Torrevieja

Yesterday afternoon, a serious accident took place on the CV-905 in Torrevieja, resulting in the tragic death of a driver. The incident occurred when a palm tree, weakened by the red weevil, suddenly collapsed onto a moving vehicle, striking the driver's side directly. More than 150 incidents were dealt with in Alicante after strong winds affected the city overnight and during Saturday, according to the city council. Rojales Town Hall has continued the modernisation of its water infrastructure with the second phase of drainage improvements in the Cuenca Sur urban area, around Plaza de los Suizos and Calle Galicia.
