Weather warning issued for Balearic Islands and Mediterranean coast
Civil Protection has issued an alert for intense rainfall across the Balearic Islands and parts of Spain’s Mediterranean coast from Saturday.
Forecasters expect a significant change in weather, with a drop in temperatures and the arrival of a cold air mass.
Heavy and persistent showers are possible, with uncertainty over which areas will be worst affected.
Authorities are urging people to follow updated forecasts and take care when travelling.
