In the early hours of this morning, Valencia’s local police arrested four men suspected of being involved in a group sexual assault on a woman. The incident reportedly occurred around seven thirty and was reported by a friend of the victim. Authorities state that the assault took place in a leisure area close to the beach.
Police officials confirmed that the arrest took place following a complaint made at the Office of Complaints and Attention to Women. The circumstances are still under investigation, and the nature of the allegations has prompted a detailed inquiry.
While the initial arrest was carried out by the local police, the investigation will be taken over by the Judicial Police of the National Police. This shift reflects the serious nature of the allegations.
The local community is urged to cooperate with authorities as more information becomes available, and responses to support the victim are being established.
