Two people have died and another is missing after torrential rain caused widespread flooding in Catalonia.

One of the victims was a 75-year-old man in Tordera, near Barcelona, who died after a wall collapsed at a campsite.

A second person was found dead in a flooded car park in Montornès del Vallès, while emergency services are searching for another missing person in Pineda de Mar.

Authorities have warned people to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel, with several rivers at risk of overflowing and transport severely disrupted.
