Tragedy struck near San José del Valle in Cádiz on Sunday when a plane crashed, resulting in the deaths of two individuals onboard. The mayor of the town, Antonio González, confirmed the fatalities following the incident, which took place on a privately owned estate approximately ten kilometres from the town.

Witnesses, two fishermen at the nearby Guadalcacín reservoir, reported seeing the crash around five thirty in the afternoon. Promptly, both the Civil Guard and local police responded to the scene to investigate the accident.

Rescue teams discovered the bodies of the two crew members completely charred in the wreckage. The aircraft had reportedly collided with a high-tension power cable during the flight, leading to significant damage and disruption in the area.

The crash also impacted local residents, with several experiencing power outages due to the fallen cable. Authorities continue to assess the situation and investigate the causes of the incident.
