Alberto González Amador, the partner of the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, is pursuing a four-year prison sentence against the Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz. This legal action arises from accusations of revealing confidential information related to González Amador’s ongoing tax fraud case. Additionally, a professional body representing prosecutors, the Professional and Independent Association of Prosecutors (APIF), demands even greater penalties, including six years of imprisonment for García Ortiz and four years for the provincial prosecutor, Pilar Rodríguez.

González Amador’s legal team has also filed for a fine of one hundred and eight thousand euros and a suspension of employment for three years, along with special disqualification from holding the position of Attorney General. The case alleges that the leaks have severely damaged González Amador’s personal and professional reputation, causing ongoing distress and suffering.

Both García Ortiz and Rodríguez are accused of
