The Canary Police have carried out a judicial raid on the Emena La Fortaleza I children’s centre on the outskirts of Las Palmas, following serious allegations of involvement in hate crimes and bodily harm. This raid was ordered by the Las Palmas Court of Violence against Children and Adolescents, which is the only court in Spain focusing on such matters.

Authorities received numerous testimonies pointing to the alleged commission of these crimes within the centre, managed by the entity Quorum Seventy-Seven. The court’s decision to close the facility aims to ensure the protection and welfare of the minors residing there.

The police operation included efforts to investigate further possible crimes, including neglecting to prevent or report criminal activities. The court has classified these proceedings as secret, underlining the sensitive nature of the inquiries.

A communication has been sent to the relevant department to ensure appropriate measures are taken for the safety of those individuals affected by this decision and residing in the centre.
