Renfe has introduced a new initiative called ‘Tarifa Cuatro o Más’, aimed at boosting group and family travel on AVE and Long Distance trains. This promotion offers a twenty five percent discount on tickets purchased for groups of between four and nine people, equivalent to a ‘four for the price of three’ deal. The offer is valid for travel from the fifteenth of June, and tickets can be purchased until the fifth of June through various channels including the Renfe website, station ticket offices, travel agencies, and by phone.

Additionally, Renfe continues to offer a substantial forty percent discount for minors, encouraging families to take advantage of this offer. With three hundred thirty five trains operating daily, including AVE, Alvia, Euromed, and Intercity, this initiative aims to make train travel more accessible for various destinations across Spain.

In a significant success, Renfe reached a historic milestone in 2024, transporting over five hundred thirty five million passengers in a single year. This figure includes services like Cercanías, Media Distancia, and Avant alongside its commercial services. This achievement reflects a growth of two point three percent from the previous year, equating to over twelve million new travellers in comparison with 2023.

The ‘Tarifa Cuatro o Más’ campaign not only makes train travel more affordable but also promotes sustainable mobility, encouraging more people to choose eco-friendly transport options as they explore Spain.
