The Provincial Court of Madrid has handed down a severe sentence of permanent imprisonment to three members of the gang Dominican Dont’Play for the murder of Gabriel K.K., a rival gang member. The court’s decision, announced by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid, occurred after the young man was fatally attacked in August twenty twenty-one.

Gabriel was confronted by the assailants on the evening of August nineteenth, twenty twenty-one. During the altercation, the victim reportedly used the expression ‘suwoop’, which the attackers interpreted as a challenge. Armed with a machete and a knife, they later ambushed Gabriel and demanded he declare allegiance by saying ‘baja patria’ or ‘baja de siete’.

The assailants proceeded to physically assault Gabriel, using a combination of punches, kicks, and knife attacks. The court’s ruling notes that they coordinated their aggression, exploiting their numerical superiority to ensure a lethal outcome without allowing Gabriel a chance to defend himself.

Gabriel ultimately died from acute hypovolemic shock caused by a severe stab wound affecting his heart. The convicted individuals have also been ordered to compensate the victim’s parents and brother with two hundred and twenty thousand euros as part of their sentencing.
