A sixty-three-year-old man from the United Kingdom has tragically died after falling from the viewpoint of the Acueducto in Segovia on Saturday afternoon. Reports indicate that the man may have lost his balance while sitting on the railing, leading to the fatal fall around one ten PM.

Emergency services, including the local police and the national police, responded swiftly to the incident. However, despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been visiting Segovia with two companions since the previous Thursday.

The authorities confirmed that the body was removed from the site around two ten PM, with the area being cleared shortly after. Witnesses reported a quick response from emergency services, but unfortunately, they could only certify the man’s death.

As investigations into the circumstances of the incident continue, the local authorities have reopened the stairs to the public. The case has been handed over to the judicial system for further examination.
