Police have reopened the investigation into the disappearance of Gary Shearer, a Celtic fan from Renfrew who vanished in Lanzarote over two years ago. Gary went missing on March sixteenth, twenty twenty-three, shortly after arriving on the island to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. He was last seen outside Bar sixty-seven in Puerto del Carmen, and despite extensive searches, his family received devastating news last June that the case would be closed due to a lack of leads.
