Diana Morant, Minister of Science and Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE, announced this Friday that her party is contemplating a no-confidence motion against Valencia’s President Carlos Mazón. This move is in response to concerns over his management of the recent disaster. She warned that if PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo does not take action soon, the Socialist Party will proceed with the motion themselves. Morant also highlighted the parliamentary dynamics, noting that despite their opposition to Mazón’s presidency, the current political landscape limits their options.
Compromís has also expressed intentions to initiate a no-confidence motion against Mazón, accusing him of lying about his handling of the crisis. Joan Baldoví from Compromís described Mazón’s leadership as
