The Roman Theatre Museum and Puerto de Culturas will collaborate this December bridge to offer a varied programme including guided tours and theatrical visits. On Saturday 6th at 11:30, the family activity ‘Happy Christmas, Bona Saturnalia’ will allow participants to learn how the Romans celebrated the Saturnalia festivities, coinciding with our Christmas celebrations. Following this, a tour of the museum’s rooms will reveal more details about the festivities led by Augustus himself. On Sunday 7th at 11:00, a guided tour from the Theatre to the Domus will begin, starting at the Roman Theatre Museum and continuing to the typical corner of the old Fishermen’s neighbourhood, the Callejn de la Soledad, to visit the preserved remains in the Domus del Prtico. Additionally, activities including a boat ride have been prepared for the 6th and 8th of December. The route through Roman and Mediterranean Cartagena will start at 11:30 at the Roman Theatre Museum, continue in the Roman Forum neighbourhood, and finish at 16:00 with a tour on the tourist boat departing from the old Club de Regatas.
