A 67-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being struck by a lorry in the centre of Mazarrón, in the Murcia region. The incident happened shortly before 11am on Wednesday in Calle Vía. Several witnesses alerted the 1-1-2 emergency coordination centre after the collision. Torrevieja Council has approved the tender process for a new service to deliver universal drug and addiction prevention programmes in the city’s primary and secondary schools.
