She added that she has accepted she was wrong and that she had not previously spoken publicly about that 24 hours issue. She recalled the scale of the online reaction, noting Twitter was huge and she was trending for weeks. She insisted she meant no malice and said the messages she received were ‘absolutely wild’ and that they would shock many people.

After a short clip from the interview circulated on X, some users described Hague as ‘tone deaf’ and ‘Thatcherite’. Her representatives issued a statement explaining the remarks related to time efficiency and that she was speaking about her own experience, not others’ lives. The second series of Molly-Mae: Behind It All launched on Prime Video on 18 October, with the final three episodes due in early 2026.
