Craig Revel Horwood says Queen Camilla could appear on Strictly
Craig Revel Horwood told BBC Breakfast that he would welcome Queen Camilla on Strictly, saying she has fantastic rhythm and would nail it. He noted that the Queen danced with him at a Royal Osteoporosis Society charity event that helped raise funds for the charity. Horwood said Camilla loves dancing and enjoys the programme, but he doubts she will ever take part. Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 23rd series this weekend.
Horwood commented on this year’s celebrity line-up, naming Alex Kingston and Dani Dyer-Bowen as notable contestants. He said Dani Dyer-Bowen is fantastic and that Kingston’s humour is a highlight, adding that the energy among the participants is high and they are entertaining.
When asked about potential consequences for being brutally honest on air, Horwood said he does not care. He explained his role is to give an honest assessment in the brief time he sees the dancers, and called talk of cancellation foolish.
