Celebrities back Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day
Leona Lewis, Suranne Jones and Josh Widdicombe will wear their pre-loved festive knitwear for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, which returns on 11 December 2025. The charity’s annual fundraiser also features Sam Thompson, Pete Wicks, Zawe Aston, Angela Griffin, Claire Richards, Amanda Holden, Katie Piper and Christine Lampard among others.
Jones spoke of favourite Christmas memories and said the appeal aims to support children in the UK and around the world. She emphasised how important it is to provide help to those in need and to keep family traditions alive for her son.
Since its launch in 2012, the campaign has raised more than £40 million for children in the UK and overseas. Lewis said she values time with family at Christmas and is taking part to help protect children who need support. The line-up also includes Alison Hammond, Joe Swash, Ade Adepitan, Jen Brister, Olivia Bowen and Noah Williams.
