Trump welcomed the statement and urged Israel to stop bombing Gaza to secure the hostages’ release. Netanyahu said Israel would work with the plan and begin implementing the first phase. Macron said the release of hostages and a Gaza ceasefire were within reach, while a UN spokesman urged all parties to seize the opportunity.
