Caravaca de la Cruz celebrates this week with a special program for ‘International Museum Day’, commemorated worldwide under the theme ‘The future of museums in constantly changing communities’. The program begins on Thursday, May 15, at 11:00 with a presentation of the charity challenge ‘Vuelta a Espaa en bicicleta’ by Jos Mara, benefiting the Spanish Federation against Leukaemia. The same day, an exhibition of the 2025 Horse of Wine adornments will open at the old convent of the Discalced Carmelites, running until June 15. Activities continue on May 16 with a guided tour and on May 17 with a family-oriented digital gymkhana. Finally, on May 18, all municipal museums will have free entry for International Museum Day.
