Alicante’s natural parks have enjoyed a particularly busy summer, with visitor numbers up by almost 20 per cent.
More than 94,000 people visited natural parks across the Valencian Community between June and August.
Peñón de Ifach in Calpe was the most popular in Alicante province, with more than 34,500 recorded visitors, followed by the Montgó Natural Park with more than 22,600.
