The Mar Menor Technical Office (MITECO) is organising a new programme of free guided visits to locations where recovery projects for the Mar Menor and its watershed are being developed. Specialist staff responsible for the works will explain the projects and their role in restoring the Mar Menor.

Wednesday 6 May Northern watershed area: environmental improvements to agricultural holdings; hydrological correction of the Cobatillas rambla; semi-natural wetland of San Pedro del Pinatar; improvements to municipal sewerage and wastewater treatment networks; and works at La Llana beach.
Departure at 16:00 from Murcia, with an intermediate stop in San Javier.

Friday 22 May Central watershed area and the Sierra Minera: Los Alczares floodable park; semi-natural wetland of Bocarrambla del Albujn; Carmol Nature Restoration Area (Green Belt); improvements to municipal sewerage and wastewater treatment networks; and environmental remediation of the Sierra Minera and mining ramblas.
Departure at 08:00 from Murcia, with an intermediate stop in Los Alczares.

Friday 29 May Southern watershed area and La Manga del Mar Menor: environmental remediation of the Sierra Minera and mining ramblas; environmental improvements to agricultural holdings; Carmol Nature Restoration Area (Green Belt); improvements to municipal sewerage and wastewater treatment networks; and removal of Puerto Mayor installations.
Departure at 08:00 from Murcia, with intermediate stops in Cartagena and La Unin.
