Trev started his radio journey after stalking the owner of Tower Fm in Bolton!!!
After eventually caving in, Trev was installed as co-host of what went on to be the most listened to show in the North West at the weekend.
A couple of other stations used Trev as part of their team to bid for radio licences before he upped sticks and moved to sunny (mostly!) Spain.
In-between opening no less than thirteen bars and restaurants on the Southern Costas, his love for radio never went away & after spells at various stations he joined TKO seven years ago and has stayed with them ever since!
“Even when I was other stations, I loved the sound of TKO, it was such a FUN station!! When I was approached by the then owners to join them it was a no-brainer, I jumped at the chance!!”
Trev has covered various slots over the years, including the breakfast show and the brunch time live mid morning show, before taking early retirement and moving to The Weekend Wake-Up on Saturdays & Sundays.
“I love that show” says Trev, “its completely different to any other show on any other radio station at the weekend!! While most play ballards on a Sunday, we’re having FUN and waking people up with a smile!!”
Trev even takes the show on the road during the year and has broadcast live from Portugal, Italy, Gibraltar & the UK in the last year alone!!
